How do I activate my MS Office account? (Windows Device)

Once you have activated your INTO account you will be able to install Microsoft Office apps. To begin, please go to https://Portal.office.com

Enter your INTO account details [firstname.lastname@my-into.com] here:

You will then be redirected to the INTO login page. Enter the same details  [firstname.lastname@my-into.com] here:

The online Microsoft Office homepage will then load. You will notice links to the online apps listed to the left side:

These will open the online edition of the MS Office app:

However, it is a good idea to install the desktop version, so to do this click the Install Office button:

A dropdown menu will appear.  This top button will start the download installer file - click this to begin: Graphical user interface, text, application Description automatically generated 
The button below will take you to some settings - including where you can install different language packs:

Once it has finished, click Run:

When asked, Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?, choose Yes

The desktop app will then install and will appear in your Windows apps list. You can then download MS Office files from your teacher and open them in the desktop app.
