Please see the below video and guide for how to submit a Turnitin assignment:

Below is how a Turnitin Assignment will look within the course:

At the top of this screen you will see the Instructions – remember to read them carefully.

This is an example of writing task, so it is expecting the submission of the document or PDF.

Upload your document using the Upload Button:

Navigate to your document and click ‘Open’. Your file will take a moment to upload to Brightspace:

If you scroll to the bottom you will notice you have a text entry box that will allow you add any additional comments for your Teacher regarding your assessment:

Then click the Submit button:

Following your submission, you will see the item in the Submissions section, as shown below. You will also receive an email to notify you that this file has been uploaded successfully:

You can submit more than one file, but not all the submissions will be considered – your last submission will be marked. You cannot delete a file once you have submitted it. You will be notified when the assessment has been marked and score will appear in the Grades section that you can access from the Nav Bar.

If you are still unable to submit your assignment to Turnitin after following these steps, please speak to your teacher, or open a chat window to speak to an agent.
