I cannot join my online Bongo lesson from China

If you are studying at INTO online from China, you might occasionally experience connectivity issues when joining your online lessons, due to the national firewall. Unlike other network issues, the problem is caused by firewall restrictions imposed on internet access to some sites.

This can suddenly start happening, and can suddenly go away again, so it is important to keep trying.

  1. Use the MS Teams or email to let your teacher know
  2. Try using a different browser
  3. Try restarting your device / router. Delete the cache / history and try again – repeat this process
  4. Try setting up a hotspot using your mobile device and connect using this
  5. Try going to a different place (such as a friend’s house) and try accessing using their internet network – if it is a different internet service provider
